BRICK BARN, HENLEY-ON-THAMES

Brick Barn dates from 1900 and was originally a stable on an old “ferme ornee”. Our recent refurbishment restored the open feel of the barn and reinstated the lost metal windows to recreate the original feeling of the barn.

A natural, “cosy” feeling was then achieved by Insulating and modernising using painted timber cladding and over-sized doors. The further addition of some bespoke, iconic design, modern fittings and a naturalistic garden planting scheme completed the homely yet stylish look.

Further works are on-going including a new winding driveway through the parkland and a high quality associated outbuilding to be configured as an office and gym.
